Lambert/rubicon is a certified FileMaker developer based in London (UK) offering the following FileMaker consultancy services:

• We can create a custom FileMaker application from scratch using process-modelling to lead to the best system design. This usually has the additional benefit of identifying improvements that can be made to wider business processes.
• We can create a custom FileMaker application based on your requirements. If you have a very clear idea of what you want, simply provide us with a detailed specification and we'll do the rest.
• We can re-develop and enhance an existing FileMaker application that you operate. This can, for example, be done to add additional features or to migrate an application built with FileMaker 6 to FileMaker 9, gaining the many additional features available in the newer versions.
• We can provide support to an existing FileMaker 6, FileMaker 7, FileMaker 8, FileMaker 8.5 or FileMaker 9 application. If your existing application is malfunctioning or has crashed, we can help.

Hardware/software requirements

Custom applications built with FileMaker will run seamlessly on both Apple Macintosh and Windows computer operating systems. Lambert/rubicon's FileMaker applications can be used to share data effortlessly around a network, to remote users, to web users and with other business systems used within your organisation.

The basic requirements for a custom application built with FileMaker 9 are as follows (though specific requirements will depend on the application's features):

Macintosh OS 10.4.8 or higher

• PowerPC G3, G4, G5 or Intel-based Mac
• 256 MB of RAM
• CD-ROM drive

Windows XP Home/Professional Edition (Service Pack 2)

• Pentium III 500MHz or higher
• 256 MB of RAM
• CD-ROM drive
• SVGA (800 x 600) or higher resolution video adapter and display

Windows Vista Home/Business/Ultimate Edition

• 800MHz 32-bit (x86) or higher
• 512 MB of RAM
• CD-ROM drive
• SVGA (800 x 600) or higher resolution video adapter and display

Lambert/rubicon credentials

Lambert/rubicon is an associate member of the FileMaker Business Alliance, run by FileMaker Inc. You can see the Lambert/rubicon details held by FileMaker here. Membership of this alliance is granted after FileMaker Inc determines that a FileMaker developer is of sufficient competence and gives Lambert/rubicon access to technical information and a range of support that is not available elsewhere.
